Alexia Smith

Alexia’s research interests include topics related to investigative interviewing and practices in youth and adult’s mental health and addictions. I am currently in the process of producing my honours thesis which will take a deeper look at various forms of social proof in witness interviews. Having said that, I have written a mock thesis in preparation for this project which related to the use of CBT on high risk incarcerated youth in Ontario. Although student life doesn’t allow for much free-time, when my schedule permits it, I enjoy playing sports as well as channeling my creativity through art and DIY projects.
