Mary Issa Fanos

Mary Issa Fanos received her B.Sc. (Hons) in Biology at the University of Ottawa. She has worked as a researcher in a biochemistry lab at the University of Ottawa and a Laboratory Manager in a clinical psychology lab at York University in Toronto, Ontario. Mary is currently completing her B.A. (Hons) in Psychology at Carleton University where she recently joined the Neuroscience Teaching Laboratory Coordinators team. Mary is excited to use her years of experience and research skills in advancing the field of forensic psychology in the Investigative Interviewing Research Lab.  The focus of her current thesis is to replicate the effects of Muslim garments and face covering on the perceived credibility of a victim’s court testimony.
