The NewLife Project Inc. recently hosted an event commemorating Black History Month on February 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at their headquarters.
This event marked a significant milestone as the NewLife Project Inc. celebrated ten years of dedicated service to women and children in Canada. The occasion served as an opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of Black heroes and ‘Sheroes’ throughout history, whose perseverance and sacrifices paved the way for the emancipation and empowerment of the Black community.
NewLife Inc. remains steadfast in its commitment to leveraging these opportunities to create even greater avenues for women and youth empowerment through its women’s forum and youth empowerment program. The organization’s mission is to inspire, guide, and equip individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive personally and professionally.
The event featured workshops, mentoring sessions, career development discussions, and community engagement initiatives, all aimed at addressing critical issues facing young individuals. Emphasizing the importance of building stronger women, families, and communities, the forum sought to harness the unique strengths, beauty, talents, and resilience inherent in every woman and youth.
Looking ahead, NewLife Inc. plans to relaunch its Women’s World Forum and introduce a new chapter of the youth empowerment program. Through these initiatives, the organization remains committed to honoring the legacy of Black patriots by making a positive difference in the lives of men, women, and children alike.
