Virtual Alcohol Training for Smart Serve Certification

The Office of Risk Management, the Department of Equity and Inclusive Communities and Campus Safety Services are collaborating to deliver virtual alcohol training. This training is mandatory for all individuals (faculty, staff and students) serving alcohol on campus, providing security at an event where alcohol will be served, or those organizing events where alcohol will be available. This online training is two-parts, with each session between 60-90 minutes. It includes Carleton’s Alcohol and Cannabis Policy, as well as the role of alcohol and drugs in harassment and sexual violence. Once you have completed both parts, you will be able to complete the Smart Serve certification online for free (you will be provided a token to do this).
