Join Canada’s first Scholars at Risk (SAR) Student Advocacy Days and engage with students, faculty, and community of activists working to promote and protect academic freedom and human rights! The SAR Canada Advocacy Day aims to bring together Canadian students at all academic levels, SAR student groups and representatives, as well as community members from across the country to discuss and learn about key areas of concern and advocacy as it relates to academic freedom in higher education. Learn more about SAR-related projects at Canadian universities and advocacy options for faculty and student researchers. Join us virtually on Thursday, March 31st for an opening address on solidarity, individual roundtable discussions on focus regions, interactive workshops, and a keynote panel.
