Hettie Witbooi

Ms. Hettie Witbooi is a rieldans legend residing in Loeriesfontein in the Hantam region of the Northern Cape. Ms. Witbooi began her rieldans career in the 1970s and 80s performing alongside her husband, Gert Witbooi, in rieldans ensemble. In the subsequent decades, Ms. Witbooi won a great number of trophies at AKTV-sponsored rieldans competitions, and was was featured in a coverpage story of a 2015 issue of the ATKV magazine Taalgenoot.
