Librarian Achievement Award

The purpose of this award is either to recognize the professional achievements of librarians or to enhance the research of librarians. Please direct any questions about this award to the Office of the University Librarian.

Funding Options

Two $10,000 Librarian Achievement Awards are available per year. The awards may, at the option of the recipient, take the form of:

Eligibility

Award recipients will be eligible to apply for the same award in the Fall term of the seventh (7th) year following the year in which the previous award was received. For example, if you received an award on May 1, 2018 or before, you will be eligible to apply for another Librarian Achievement Award in the fall term of 2025.

Selection Process

The University Librarian will be an information resource for the Committee but will not participate in any other way in its deliberation.

Award funding will be transferred on May 1, following the application date, but may be deferred by the recipient for reasonable cause by up to one year.
