The 2026 Calendar Contest is here!

Every year, The Print Shop publishes a themed calendar for the Carleton community, with the theme changing each year. We’re excited to announce the theme for the 2026 calendar: Carleton Employees, Then and Now!

We’re looking for two photos of faculty and staff: one from when they roughly started working at Carleton, and a second, present-day photo. We’ll mix and match some of the photos we receive each month, and calendar users will be able to try to match up the then and now photos. Each month you’ll be able to submit your guesses – there may even be prizes involved 🙂

While the contest is open to all employees, we are particularly hoping that many of our recent retirees will join in!

Entry Rules

We are looking for two photos of each submitter! But for your submission to be considered, please review the requirements below:

• You must be an employee of Carleton to enter this contest (i.e. you must be a staff or faculty member).
• Ideally, the photo(s) should be in a close up of your upper body and face
• Limit 1 submission (that contains 2 photos) per person – make them count!
• The photos must be of high enough quality that we can print them 2″x2″ without them being blurry. Note the maximum file size you are allowed to upload using the form below is 15MB, but if your image is larger than that, please include a link to the file (via Dropbox or a similar file-sharing service) in the comment box on the form.
• You must submit real photos you own (i.e. no stock photos, no ai images)
• The photos should only be of one person (i.e. no group photos where people have to pick you out of a crowd).
• If anyone else is in the photos, you must have their permission to submit.
• If you are submitting photos on behalf of someone else (say a retiree), you must have their permission to do so.
• The submission deadline is midnight on Friday, November 14, 2025

What’s in it for you?

You mean besides the obvious fame, glory, and prestige of being able to say “my photo was featured in a calendar” to all your friends and family? Well, we’ll also be doing a draw from all the submissions for 3 Carleton hoodies!
