We’re on eShop!
The Print Shop is now on eShop, Carleton University’s e-procurement solution! Internal departments can check out our Quick Guide to learn how to get started, and pay for orders.
We are now using Order Print Now to take in print orders, but you can still use eShop to pay for them.
As of June 30, 2016, Carleton has retired a number paper forms – including internal chargebacks (ICBs), cheque requisitions and purchase requisitions. These are now available in eShop or other digital methods. This will offer a number of benefits to the institution, including:
- Faster order processing
- Better tracking of previous and current orders
- Better tracking of where your department is spending it’s money
If you are an internal service provider who uses the ICB for cost recovery but are not yet set up to receive orders through eShop, please contact the eShop Team at eshop@carleton.ca.
Important reminders:
- Paper forms for cheque requisitions, purchase requisitions and internal chargebacks (ICBs) will no longer be accepted after June 30, 2016. Many of the internal service providers have already been incorporated into eShop. Watch the “Filling Out eShop Forms: Internal Service Providers” or “Shopping eShop: Hosted Catalogues” videos to see how to use eShop instead of an ICB.
- The retiring paper forms can already be submitted electronically, and likely you are already set up as an eShop shopper or requisitioner if you currently have any financial access to our systems (T&E or FAST).
- eShop tools, support and training is available on the FACTS website.
- Beginning in July, a new card will be available to make the in-person purchasing of goods and services on campus for business purposes more convenient. Available for faculty and staff, this new, separate card can be used in-person at Bakers and many other locations on campus instead of the ICB. Stay tuned for more details.
If you have any questions about the Print Shop’s involvement with eShop, please contact us at either 613-520-3625 or theprintshop@carleton.ca. If you have questions about eShop in general, please contact the eShop team at eshop@carleton.ca.
