This Request for Proposals (RFP) is soliciting a broad range of research and evaluation pilot studies exploring long-term outcomes of policies and interventions in order to inform public decision makers.

Opportunity

We are seeking projects that link state and local administrative data in combination with data available at the Census Bureau to provide policy-relevant insights on public programs. Projects of interest may range in scope from impact evaluations of innovative strategies for delivering Federal programs to needs assessments conducted to more efficiently target services.

Eligibility

Institutions eligible to submit a Full Proposal include academic institutions, research or policy institutes, and governmental entities (except Federal agencies). Nonprofit service providers, federal agencies, and other entities are welcome to partner with researchers from an eligible institution to submit a full proposal. Federal agency staff with an interest in the Census Bureau Linkage Infrastructure should contact Melissa Chiu at Melissa.C.Chiu@census.gov.

Funding Available

Selected projects do not receive a monetary award. Selected projects receive services related to preparation for and facilitation of data linkage with in the Census Bureau Linkage Infrastructure.
