The Ben Gurion University of the Negev’s Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research invites applications for the Blaustein postdoctoral fellowship.
Opportunity
This supports postdoctoral research on topics related to the sustainable development of drylands including desert ecology, solar energy and environmental physics, architecture and town planning, rainfed and irrigated agriculture, hydrology, aquaculture, environmental microbiology, desalination and water treatment, and biotechnology.
Eligibility
The programme is open to applicants from all over the world who have received their PhD within the last five years. Fellowships are not available to those who received their PhD at BGU.
Funding Available
- Maximum amount: $25,000 USD
- Fellowship duration: 1 year (with a possibility of renewal for an additional year)
