Master’s students will:
- spend 20% of their time in a paid internship with a partner organization;
- take a core course at Carleton University on heritage conservation;
- participate in an annual, one-day Heritage Forum;
- participate in heritage workshops with industry partners;
- participate in heritage round tables and conferences;
- develop, research and produce a thesis that addresses the gaps and issues identified in the Heritage Forum, in addition to meeting the requirements of the student’s degree program;
- publish a paper in a peer-reviewed publication; and
- use cuPortfolio to showcase their learning and achievements.
