Published on May 26, 2026

Time to read: 1 minutes

Kevin Nunes held a meeting of experts to discuss how we can better understand, measure, and change cognitions thought to be relevant for violent behaviour. The meeting was held at Carleton University in April and consisted of presentations by and discussions with researchers and knowledge-users from a variety of disciplines (e.g., forensic psychology, social psychology, criminology), settings (e.g., academic, corrections, forensic psychiatric), and locations (Ontario, Quebec, UK, and USA).

Thank you to all those that attended and to Carleton University and SSHRC for funding the meeting!

Keep an eye on this space for more updates from the meeting.
