Ariel completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Carleton University (2009). With 14 years of experience in education administration and special education, Ariel brings extensive experience in supporting students and educators. Before joining the Accessibility Institute in 2023, she worked as an educational assistant, school office administrator, editor, and braille transcriptionist.
Ariel is passionate about connecting people to the information and resources that will help them fulfill their potential. With her lived experience with a non-visible disability, she appreciates the value of collaboration and empowerment, and is proud to contribute to Carleton’s commitment to creating a culture of accessibility.
