Arthur Kroeger College (AKC) is pleased to announce the inaugural Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) Prizes. There will be two prizes this year: one for an undergraduate student and one for a graduate student studying in AKC. Eligible recipients must demonstrate a dedication in their scholarship or community engagement to the goals of DEIJ. Application is required.
AKC has been working with students to broaden our curriculum, welcome Black, Indigenous, and racialized students, and contribute to making higher education more equitable and our community more inclusive. These prizes are part of our commitment to principles of DEIJ.
Each prize (one undergraduate, one graduate) is valued at $750.

Successful candidate will be notified by May 3rd, 2024
General Eligibility Criteria
• Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy
Management (BPAPM) program or the Bachelor of Global and International Studies (BGInS) program.
Graduate students must be enrolled full-time in the Master of Migration and Diaspora Studies (MDS)
program or the Master of Political Management (MPM) program.
• Students must be in good academic standing.
• Applicants must demonstrate dedication in their scholarship or community engagement to the goals of
DEIJ, at Carleton or in the broader community.
