Citizenship & Community Affairs Award
Citizenship & Community Affairs Award
Some of the most exciting developments in Canadian public affairs are happening at the community level where individual citizens marshall their collective efforts to make things happen – creating economic opportunity, protecting the environment, helping neighbours or contributing to the vitality of the voluntary sector.
This award may be awarded to an individual or an organization that has shown creativity, persistence and overall leadership in demonstrating the value of locally based initiative in effectively dealing with a problem or challenge. It may be awarded to an individual or organization whose research or activities have expanded our understanding and awareness of the importance of good citizenship and community.
