Welcome to the second episode of the Render Podcast for RENDER: the Carleton Graduate Journal of Art and Culture. We decided to give this podcast a try to complement our RENDER Blog and “de-academitize” conversations about art. Hosting the Render Podcast are two second-year MA Art History Candidates, Emily Putnam and Jessie Raymond. The conversations of this podcast are meant to be casual, informal, and most importantly, about art, culture, and life as a grad student!

Grad school is stressful and unknown territory for pretty much every new grad student. As we enter the final leg of our Masters’ program (only three months until graduation!), we wanted to share what we’ve learned from the experience. During this episode, we discuss Psych Central’s twelve tips for surviving and thriving graduate school, adding our own suggestions.
