Indigenous Student Bursary Application
The Ministry has allocated funding to create the Indigenous Student Bursary to provide direct support to indigenous students with financial need. Indigenous peoples include First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Please note, there are a limited number of these bursaries available.
Eligible students are attending first entry programs of study and must meet OSAP’s Ontario residency requirements. If you believe that you may meet the eligibility requirements to be considered for this bursary, but have not been presented with the Indigenous Student Bursary application via Carleton Central, please contact the Awards Office. The application will be available as of the first day of Fall classes. Complete and submit your application by Oct. 31 (late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered).

The Government of Ontario has allocated funding to create a bursary fund for First Generation Students through the Ministry’s Access and Opportunities Strategy. This is a unique opportunity to recognize and provide direct support to students with financial need who are the first in their families to attend college or university.

Indigenous Student Bursary Application
Current registered undergraduate students may complete the General Undergraduate Bursary application in order to be considered and assessed for available donor bursary awards. Bursaries may be awarded to students who are in receipt of some type of student loan funding from either government student financial assistance programs (OSAP or other province) or from a financial institution and continue to demonstrate financial need in order to finance their studies. Complete and submit your application by Oct. 31 (late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered).
