Carleton University and the Carleton University Academic Staff Association (CUASA), which represents the University’s faculty and professional librarians, commenced bargaining toward a renewed collective agreement on October 3, 2024. The University’s goal is to achieve a negotiated agreement that is fair to our valued colleagues who are represented by CUASA while also reflecting the significant fiscal challenges Carleton faces.
The two negotiation teams are actively engaged in respectful and collegial bargaining discussions, with the next session set for November 18, 2024. Further meetings are scheduled in November and December.
