PhD Candidate (two positions)
Positions to start in January or May, 2022
The research for this PhD candidate position is focused on discovering novel ALD processes, starting with precursor synthesis and characterization, through deposition and process optimization and thin film characterization. The goal of this research is to discover the fundamental surface chemistry that drives ALD, and the targets will often be metal thin films.
International candidates require a completed MSc degree in chemistry, while domestic candidates require a BSc (honours) degree in chemistry. Strong synthetic skills or experience are a definite asset.
