About

Welcome to the BEA-Well website! We are a group of researchers studying behaviours, assessment, and well-being. People working in our lab are studying behaviours such as exercise, physical activity, screen time, and sleep and how they are related to well-being indicators (symptoms of anxiety and depression, meaning, flourishing). We use theory to understand how psychological factors such as feeling competent, autonomous, and related to important others influences the link between our behaviours and well-being. Lastly, we are interested in understanding how to assess and model these psychological constructs.

Mission: To identify and promote psychological processes that enhance health and well-being at every stage of life

Vision: Provide international leadership and collaboration to ensure people can adopt and maintain healthy lives
