 Mr. Hertel is a former six-term Democratic Member of Congress from Michigan, who previously served for three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives.  He is a founder and Vice President of the International Election Monitors Institute, and is President of the U.S. Association of former Members of Congress.  He is currently a partner with the Washington, D.C. firm The Livingston Group.  He will be joined in discussion with a former Canadian Parliamentarian.
