Job Description – Design Administration Engineer – Ottawa
The successful candidate will assist the Senior Design Administration Engineer with management of the subdivision design process from project inception to final approval of detailed design. The key responsibilities include co-ordination with the client, municipality, approval agencies, sub-consultants, and other professionals, as well as provision of assistance with the preparation of functional design / feasibility reports and investigations. The successful candidate will also co-ordinate and prepare all subdivision applications and design submissions for approval. This position is suited to an engineer with a strong design background, with an interest in project management and communication.
Minimum Requirements – Design Administration Engineer – Ottawa
- Graduate Engineer (eligible for license) with 2 years design experience is preferred, however, new graduates will also be considered
- detailed knowledge of subdivision design
- superior project management and leadership skills
- Superior customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have a car
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Dental / medical
