Environment Canada awards funding to Hakami
Dr. Hakami was recently awarded funding of $75,000 by Environment Canada (EC) to develop extensions to EC’s air quality model. These extensions include advanced sensitivity analysis tools that will enable EC scientists and policy makers to better quantify the response of the atmosphere to emission controls. Graduate students Matthew Russell and Morteza Mesbah, together with postdoctoral fellow Dr. Shunliu Zhao will be involved in the project over the next 15 months.
