Van Hees visits AC&SE program at Carleton

Prof Rob van Hees visited the Architectural Conservation and Sustainability program at Carleton in October. He facilitated a student workshop on What Makes Existing Buildings Green as well as engaging in different activities in the framework of ICOMOS Canada, the Martin Weaber memorial fund, and Heritage Canada Foundation activities.

Professor Rob Van Hees is senior research sci-entist and coordinator of the Cultural Heritage at TNO — The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research and full Professor of Building Conservation at Delft University of Technology—Faculty of Architecture (TU Delft). His main fields of interest are the durability of materials, conservation techniques and the compatibility of new and ancient materials.
