Jordan Smyth awarded WEAO scholarship

Jordan Smyth has been awarded the WEAO (Water Environment Association of Ontario) scholarship. WEAO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Ontario’s water environment. His award and $1,000 scholarship will be presented at the Awards Luncheon at the WEAO 45th Technical Symposium that will be held on April 11, 2016 in Niagara Falls, ON. Jordan is an MASc student in Environmental Engineering and works under the supervision of Prof. Banu Ormeci, Canada Research Chair in Wastewater Treatment Engineering, on optimization of sludge treatment processes.
