Congratulations to the team of ACSE student who won first place in the 2019 Association of Preservation Technologies (APT) competition.

The competition involved the design and construction of an unreinforced masonry arch. The team worked on this significant undertaking for close to a year. Consisting of three phases, they successfully completed phase one and two and in late November beat out the other four phase two finalist in Miami, FL.

The group was supervised by Professor Jack Vandenberg.
