Prof. Hossain heads research to improve asphalt mixture in St. John’s roads

There are several factors that cause potholes on pavements. There are studded tires and climate and temperature change, to name a few. To provide a solution, Prof. Kamal Hossain, Assistant Professor of Pavement Engineering at Carleton University, is heading a research team for a three-year project with the City of St. John’s to find ways to improve the asphalt mixture used in pavement and provide motorists with a smoother ride.
