Prof. Kamal Hossain and Alyssa Bernier win Best Poster Award in GRINCH Seminar
Prof. Kamal Hossain and his master’s student Alyssa Bernier participated in the GRINCH Pavement Engineering Research Seminar hosted by ÉTS Montréal on June 17th. GRINCH stands for “Groupe de Recherche en Ingénierie des Chaussées” (Research Group on Pavement Engineering). This event has brought together professors, researchers, and students from 8 universities in Canada for many years.
This year, over 25 podiums and 30 poster presentations were made by researchers. Prof. Hossain and Alyssa Bernier presented their research in the meeting with a poster titled “Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Canadian Asphalt Pavements”, jointly authored and prepared by Prof. Hossain, Alyssa Bernier, Hossain’s former Ph.D. student Surya Swarna and his co-worker from Rowan University. Their work was well-recognized and received the Best Poster Award. Congratulations!
