4918 Design Project Presentations

The 4918 Design Project Presentations is an exciting opportunity for our undergraduate engineering students, as part of a project team, to demonstrate transfer of learning. Under the guidance of their faculty supervisors, teams of students solve open ended practical engineering problems through the integration and application of knowledge and skills that have been acquired and developed over the course of their engineering program.

Around 40 weeks ago, students formed groups and started to work on an open-ended design project culminating their learning experience in their undergraduate programs. This event allows them to summarize their work and present it to their colleagues, mentors, and guests.

This event will showcase the hard work and effort put by the students and the wide range of expertise students of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering have gained during their study at Carleton University.

This event celebrates the conclusion of the capstone projects by fourth year students in the three programs Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering.
