Carleton University Team partakes in the APT PETC Student Design-Build Competition in Seattle, USA

The Carleton University Team participated in this year’s Association for Preservation Technology (APT) Preservation Engineering Technical Committee (PETC) Student Design-Build Competition. In this competition, the Carleton team took part in analyzing, designing, and constructing a masonry arch based on historic construction practices. The Team had the opportunity to travel to the APT conference in Seattle, USA to present their work and construct a dry-stack arch with rigid insulation as their “masonry” material.
