Dr. Mario Santana Quintero named Honorary President of the International Scientific Committee on Heritage Documentation (CIPA)
Dr. Mario Santana Quintero has been named ‘Honorary President’ of the International Scientific Committee on Heritage Documentation (CIPA) on Monday, June 26th, 2023, at the Palaccio Vecchio in Florence, Italy.
CIPA is one of the scientific committees of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), for which Dr. Santana-Quintero was the past president. The Honorary President is a very distinguished role, reserved to people that have highly contributed to the field of technologies in recording cultural heritage.
Dr. Mario Santana Quintero is a professor in Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering with the department of the Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carleton University.
