Congratulations to our very own Dr. Gilmore who was named a distinguished expert with the Climate Action and SDG Synergies Expert Group that took place at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) at the United Nations on Sustainable Development Goals, this July 2024! You can read more about the expert group here.
Dr. Gilmore also spoke at the United Nations Headquarters in New York “on the knowledge gaps and research needs to support connections between climate action and sustainable development” (Dr. Elisabeth Gilmore).
In the coming years, I will be advising on these issues, including at the United Nations’ Fifth Global Climate and SDG Synergy Conference in Brazil in September.
