David Clarabut Awarded Best Student Presentation at 7th Symposium on Fluid-Structure-Sound Interactions and Control (FSSIC 2025)

Congratulations to David Clarabut who won Best Student Presentation at the 7th Symposium on Fluid-Structure-Sound Interactions and Control (FSSIC 2025)!

“Sparse Bayesian learning of nonlinear aerodynamics for aeroelastic limit cycle oscillations using wind-tunnel data” was the presentation he delivered that was recognized for outstanding achievement and excellence on July 31, 2025 at Ontario Tech University, Oshawa, Ontario. The award was presented by the Symposium Chair, Dr. Atef Mohany and Symposium Co-Chair, Dr. David Sumner.

David has been working towards his M.A.Sc. Civil Engineering under the supervision of Professor Abhijit Sarkar. We look forward to seeing him grow professionally as an academic within his field.
