Christian Viau Receives New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award

Congratulations to Professor Christian Viau for being a recipient of the New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award!

This award recognizes excellence and innovation in teaching in the first five years at Carleton University, celebrating new faculty members who demonstrate excellence in teaching and who are active in and engaged with Carleton’s teaching and learning community. Christian is one of the five recipients for the 2025-26 cycle.

We are thrilled to celebrate Christian’s dedication to his thoughtful teaching philosophy, his students’ feedback and success, and his involvement in the broader Scholarship of Teaching and Learning community.
