Prof. Elie Azar’s Paris Trip Yields New Agreement Between Carleton and Prestigious French Engineering School

Coming off the heels of Elie Azar’s recent trip to Paris, Carleton signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with ESTP – Grande école d’ingénieurs de la construction to facilitate cooperation between the two institutions in support of research collaborations and other academic partnership opportunities.
During his trip, Prof. Azar presented on the research endeavors of his lab and Carleton’s Building Performance Research Centre (BPRC). This partnership directly supports his goals as Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Buildings and Communities.
A huge thanks to Dr. Mohammed-Hichem BENZAAMA who hosted Prof. Azar (both pictured outside the ESTP building). We look forward to the exciting upcoming collaborations between Carleton and our new international ties.
