Horizon Europe is the European Union’s flagship funding program for research and innovation, running from 2021 to 2027 with a total budget of €95.5 billion (CAD $140 billion). The program aims to tackle global challenges, enhance European industrial competitiveness and align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Through Canada’s association with Pillar II of Horizon Europe, Carleton University researchers can apply and receive funding for collaborative research under Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness on the same terms as EU participants.
