Learning Support Sessions are available to any Carleton student who is looking to develop skills that can help them achieve academic success. Learning Support Sessions is a person-centred service focused on fostering effective learning strategies. Each session with a Peer Learning Assistant (PLA) is unique, focused on the specific strengths and challenges of the individual.

Who Provides Learning Support?
Learning support sessions are provided by PLAs and can be focused on one skill or many. These sessions are intended to be student-focused and help students strengthen their skills and develop new active learning strategies.
PLAs are also very knowledgeable about campus services, can suggest referrals for additional support both within CSAS and across campus, and help students develop an action plan to ensure they are meeting their academic goals.
