Nicholas Brooker

M.A.Sc. Candidate

Nick is a Masters student with the Energy and Emissions Research Laboratory, currently researching the destruction efficiency of benzene in a lab-scale flare. The focus is on glycol dehydrators as they are a key benzene emissions source for which flaring is often used as a control measure.  Experiments are being performed using a specially customized, high-sensitivity gas chromatograph with measurement protocols designed to support quantitative uncertainty analysis.  Prior to joining the EERL Nick completed a Bachelor of Engineering at Carleton University.
