What is the Employability Framework?

The Employability Framework has been developed to support and enhance the student’s academic journey. To do so, the Employability Framework maps out the ways in which Carleton is providing pathways to develop employability skills in our students, as well as the career competencies developed through these experiences. Our aim is to ensure students recognize the skills gained in the classroom, that they are able to identify the opportunities available to them outside of the classroom and are able to make connections to their skill development. By doing so, they will be better able to articulate their skills when seeking employment upon graduation.
