Join members of the Ottawa Valley chapter of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG) for a special event in celebration of an exhibition commemorating the enduring legacy of L.M. Montgomery on the 150th anniversary of her birth.
Learn to sew a pamphlet binding from Christine McNair, chair of CBBAG (5:45-6:30).
After a brief address on Montgomery by Department of English Professor Sara Jamieson and an overview of the artists featured in the exhibition, we will return to the Book Arts Lab for a tour and a piece of cake (7:15).
The Kindred Spirits book arts exhibition continues until mid-December at MacOdrum Library.
