Let’s give a warm Carleton welcome to queer/feminist icon Eileen Myles! If you don’t know, they are an American poet, novelist and art journalist whose practice of vernacular first-person writing has become a touchstone for the identity-fluid internet age. Join us for a performance of their work followed by a Q&A, Friday March 28th, Dunton Tower 2017, 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Queer/Feminist icon, Eileen Myles (they/them) is an American poet, novelist and art journalist whose practice of vernacular first-person writing has become a touchstone for the identity-fluid internet age. Author of pioneering works such as Chelsea Girls and I Must Be Living Twice, their latest books are a “Working Life” and Pathetic Literature. They live in NYC & Marfa TX and are currently working on “a very long novel.”
