Working at the EPTL with Professor Kholghy was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to work on a joint project with the NRC on their campus, and the learnings I gained are invaluable. I developed skills in a large variety of areas, which included hands on research and laboratory skills, and operating a Flame Spray Pyrolysis Reactor with the Black Carbon Metrology Group of the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa. I also learned how to create clear and precise engineering reports and presentations throughout my work-term. The experience working with Carleton’s EPTL will go a long way in both my studies, and future work opportunities. I would highly recommend the EPTL to anyone wishing to learn and develop skills, within a smart and supportive community.
