Mohammad H. Entezari is a professor of Chemistry at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 1985 and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Mazandaran University in 1988 (Iran). Entezari arrived to Ottawa, Canada in May 4, 1990 and joined the research group of late Professor Peeter Kruus as a pioneer Sonochemist. Professor Kruus was a great person and Entezari actually enjoyed working with him and thinking of him as an advisor and mentor. The research project of Entezari’s PhD program was focused on the “Effect of Frequency on Sonochemical Reactions” and he was graduated in December 1994 from Carleton University, Canada.
Entezari returned immediately to Iran and started his academic activities in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. He is currently leading the research group in Sonochemical Research Lab and Environmental Chemistry Research Lab. The research group is involved in the sonosynthesis of different nanomaterials and their applications in several projects concerning the solar mineralization of different pollutants (chemical, pharmaceutical, microorganism).
Entezari has published around 90 peer reviewed journal papers, many conference papers and three patents.
