What is it?
A bank draft is a type of payment guaranteed by the issuing bank.
Why is it important?
Bank drafts can be requested when certified funds are required by the recipient. However, bank drafts are more commonly used at Carleton University when foreign payments cannot be made by cheque or electronic transfer.
