What is it?
In situations where an employee uses their personal automobile for University business, they may request to be reimbursed by making a claim for mileage.
The University uses the mileage claim allowances or kilometric rates that are set by the National Joint Council.
Why is it important?
The standard rate considers the price of gasoline as well as such things as insurance and wear and tear on the automobile.
