Dr. James Deaville was recently awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant for $100,000 for the research project “Sounds of Body: Muteness, Music, and Eugenics in Screen Representation.” As part of the grant, he will be supporting student research, workshops, and a web presence, all in the area of music, disability, and screen media.
