Overview
The Management Certificate Program in Human Resources is a fast-track professional program recognized by the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.
Participants will be able to achieve all nine credit coursework requirements to write the Comprehensive Knowledge Exam (CKE1/CKE2) through the HRPA to be eligible for the CHRP and CHRL Designations. Please refer to the HRPA website to ensure that you meet the additional requirements to write the CKE1/CKE2.

Future EDge will no longer be offering courses recognized with micro credential status. This does not impact courses/program offerings.
Topics and Dates
- You can complete the courses in any order and at your own pace. To comply with HRPA’s guidelines, achieving a minimum grade of 65% in each course is mandatory.
- Courses run from September to July with a new course each month. Depending on deliverables, some courses will have an exam out of scheduled class time.
- Synchronous online format: Wednesdays from 6:00pm – 9:00 pm & Saturdays from 8:30 AM – 12:30 pm.

Exemptions
A maximum number of four course exemptions may be granted if you have completed equivalent post-secondary courses at Carleton University or other post-secondary institutions, with a passing grade of 65%. Non-refundable, per course, exemption application fee $50.00 + HST.
Course(s) must have been completed at an accredited institution. For courses that have been taken outside of Canada, an original equivalency report from WES, ICAS, or CES is required to confirm the institution is accredited.
Please note that an exemption granted by Future EDge only applies to our program and does not guarantee a similar exemption from the CHRP/CHRL requirements.
