Overview
We know that disruptive technologies (IoT, AI, Blockchain, etc.) are beginning to automate work activities, including some technical job functions. As a result, engineers and technical managers who want to stay competitive and advance their careers need to have more than technical proficiency. There is increasing pressure for them to add business basics to their skill set.
The Mini-MBA Program for STEM is composed of 13 sessions further subdivided into two main modules. The first half of the program (8 sessions) is focused on covering the building blocks relevant to management. The second half of the program delves into the application of these management subjects to various science, technology, and engineering domains. Whereas the first half is more management fundamentals focused, the second is inherently more Science, Technology & Engineering focused.
Who Should Attend
- Engineers and technical managers who want to become more resilient by adding business basics to their skill set
- Those in technical roles who want to grow their careers but don’t have time for or are not ready to commit to an MBA or EMBA
- Managers who have had exposure to one functional area and plan to move into a general management position
