Jesika Arseneau
Founder and CEO – Forge and Haven
Jesika Arseneau is a career strategist and senior communications professional with over a decade of experience spanning recruitment, public relations, and marketing. Since 2014, she has helped professionals translate their experience into impact-driven narratives across public, academic, and private sector environments, with a focus on navigating transitions between sectors.
Before founding Forge & Haven, a career storytelling and professional positioning practice, Jesika served as Vice President of Strategy & Culture at an Ottawa-based recruitment agency. In this role, she led corporate brand development, advised on talent presentation, and supported business development initiatives; work that gave her a deep, practical understanding of how experience is evaluated by hiring managers. Her five years in the recruitment industry continue to inform her approach to cross-sector positioning with clients.
Earlier in her career, Jesika worked as a publicist in agency settings and with the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Through this work, she developed a strong mastery of narrative and self-promotion that gains results. She now applies these skills to helping individuals translate complex roles and accomplishments into clear, compelling, and market-ready narratives.
Through Forge & Haven, Jesika specializes in supporting professionals navigating career transitions, particularly those moving from government or academic environments into private sector roles or more senior leadership positions. She has led webinars and workshops on transitioning into industry for a range of organizations, including the Women in Space Conference. An active leader in the business community, Jesika is passionate about equipping professionals with the tools, language, and confidence needed to articulate their value in competitive professional landscapes.
